X-Sign Client is a browser plug-in, which brings several important functions to WWW-based forms:
- digital signing using smart cards or other certificates (e.g. electronic ID card).
- attachments
- saving and loading locally
X-Sign Client is provided free of charge. You can install it by selecting "Install X-Sign".
X-Sign Client characteristics
X-Sign Client is a browser plugin which adds the functionality required for electronic transactions to WWW-based forms: interface with your computers PKI interface and file system. With X-Sign you can browse certificates installed on your computer, select the one you want to use and create and check digital signatures. You can also save and load form data to and from files on your computer. The files are saved as XML. The client also makes it possible to add attachments to WWW forms.
Versions of X-Sign Client exist for Netscape 4.x and above, Mozilla 1.x, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and above.
