Electronic business process

Our software deliveries to the public and financing sectors focus particularly on an electronic form solution and on the integration of a digital signature component into our customers' systems.

Our electronic form solution is easy to merge into an existing operational system. Our intelligent XML-based forms with their quick user interface make it easier to standardise document management and to cost-effectively plan the use of forms and the related administrative processes. With the use of electronic forms, an organisation can be reached by its customers 24 hours a day, regardless of the user's location. The information gathered using the forms passes securely through the processing chain.

Electronic certificates can be used to allow users access to several electronic public-sector services using the same personal identifiers. A digital signature function integrated into electronic forms guarantees the integrity of a signed document and the identity of the signatory, for instance when dealing with issues which transcend the boundaries between different public sector organisations.

Secure document life cycles

The health care organisation's case management systems make use of Avain Technologies' electronic forms and digital signature component as part of their own operational systems. In addition, the document-based information gathered by an operational system can be sent to X-Archive, a long-term electronic archiving system. X-Archive offers organisations the opportunity to perform record and archive management, standardise the processing of document-based data and digitise the processing cycle as required by Finnish law.
